Fun facts : was pink & curly when he was a cub. He also barked at his Godmother, the french first lady ! Scared of birthday cakes. Became a foodie like his father.

      Huan Huan’s pregnancy announced with a first echography revealing a panda foetus

    • 4th August

      Huan Huan delivers birth at 10:32pm. The little cub, a male, is nicknamed Mini Yuan Zi (MYZ)

    • 18th September

      MYZ opens his eyes for the first time

    • 15th November

      MYZ starts to walk

    • 4th December

      During his naming ceremony, MYZ gets his official name : Yuan Meng

  • 2018

    • 13th January

      Yuan Meng has his public debuts (report here !)

    • 8th February

      For the 2017 Giant Panda Global Awards, Yuan Meng gets the Gold award in the « Panda Cub of the Year » category

      Huan Huan’s pregnancy announced with a first echography revealing a panda foetus

    • 23rd July

      A second echography reveals a second panda foetus

    • 2nd August

      Huan Huan delivers birth at 1:03am and 1:10am. The cubs (two females) are nicknamed Fleur de Coton (Cotton flower) and Petite Neige (Little snow)

    • 21st September

      Fleur de Coton opens her eyes for the first time. Petite Neige will follow.

    • Early December

      Huan Li Li and Yuan Du Du start to walk

    • 18th November

      During his naming ceremony, Fleur de Coton and Petite Neige get their official name : Huan Li Li and Yuan Du Du. Huan Li Li’s godmother is chinese diver Zhang Jiaqi and Yuan Du Du’s godfather is french soccer player Kilian MBappé

    • 11th December
